BOOKIES refused any more bets on a Royal wedding last night after Prince William and girlfriend Kate Middleton appeared in public for the first time since their reunion.
Mischievous Kate stoked speculation they were about to announce their engagement by wearing a dazzling new ring for the night out.

Ladbrokes closed the book on an betrothal in the remaining weeks of 2007 after Wills and Kate’s date at trendy London nightclub Boujis.
Spokesman David Williams said: “We had been offering odds of 16/1. But the sight of William back with Kate means we have closed the book for this year.
“If they announce an engagement before December 31, 2007, we face paying out a king’s ransom.”
William Hill also announced they were no longer taking bets.
Spokesman Rupert Adams said: “As far as we are concerned, it is no longer a question of if they get married, but when.”
The odds on them getting engaged in 2007 had shortened from 12/1 to 6/4.
The date was the first time the couple, both 25, have stepped out publicly together since they decided to give the romance another go four months ago.

Kate wore the silver diamond-like ring on the middle finger of her left hand.
But pals insisted she only had it on to tease photographers – and it did NOT herald a Royal wedding.
The date is being seen as a milestone in the couple’s relationship, sending the world the clear signal: “We’re back on.”
The Prince and Kate, who had been dating since late 2003, split in April after an “amicable agreement” to part.
But 12 weeks later, The Sun revealed they were giving their relationship another go.
Since then they have gone to great lengths to keep their renewed romance a secret, even holidaying on a tiny Indian Ocean island in a bid to avoid being pictured.
But all that ended on Thursday.
Beaming Kate was pictured with a tipsy-looking Wills in the street outside the club and getting into their car before driving off.
Last night a Royal source denied the date was to deflect attention from the inquest into the death of Wills’ mother Diana.
He said: “They just decided the time was right to let the cat out of the bag.”
Kate’s ring is understood to be costume jewellery.
A pal said: “They thought it would be funny to have some mischief.”
